ABOUT ZION UNITED CHURCH

Our congregation is noted for its warmth, mutual support and faithfulness (as well as its Chicken Barbecues!).

We are a small congregation eager to follow Jesus in the ways of love, mercy, acceptance, and peace. Our worship is informal but dignified. We sing, hear and reflect on scripture, and pray for one another and the world.

Last but certainly not least, we gain sustenance from the presence of God and support from the presence of those around us.

ZION MINISTRY

• We do not live just for ourselves.
• We regularily offer prayers for the world and the sick.
• We help to support the Bethany Children’s Home, and the Phoebe Devitt Home for the elderly.
• We give to the One Great Hour of Sharing and the ministries of the Penn Northeast Conference.
• At Thanksgiving we put together mixed supplies in shoe boxes and sent them to children in other countries.
